You can measure yourself for a wig, but it’s typically better to have someone do it for you to increase accuracy. Start with a fabric measuring tape.
You need three primary measurements:
- Ear-to-ear over the top of your head, like a headband.
- Front hairline to nape, measured across the top of your scalp.
- Full head circumference, wrapping from your front hairline around the sides and nape back to the front.
